Rossi does not rule out testing in MotoGP when he retires

With only four races left before he hangs up his helmet for good, the Italian rider had planned to shoot only on Tuesday at the Misano test, as he had no new parts to test. However, at the end of the first day he changed his mind and decided to also participate this Wednesday.

Rossi completed 30 laps in the morning and 12 more in the afternoon, although he did not improve his time from the first day and finished 14th in the accumulated test, six tenths off the best time set by Pecco Bagnaia. The one from Tavullia limited himself to working on the starting point.

“Nothing important, just little things in the bike set-up. I tried a tire for Michelin . Actually, I was just working on the feeling with the bike, since we have another race in Misano”, commented the #46 at the end.

The 42-year-old has already announced that he will race in cars once he leaves MotoGP. However, it would not be surprising if we see him again on a motorcycle in the future, although in principle it is not in his plans.

“It’s the last test, but I’m not at all sorry to miss the next ones because we usually do a lot of physical and mental work. Let’s say this is the most difficult part of our work, and I actually prefer the race weekend and the adrenaline of it”.

“It will be necessary to see how much I miss riding a MotoGP when I don’t do it anymore. But, as I said, the tests are not the best part of the job and for the riders it is not an unforgettable moment. Maybe I will miss MotoGP and then I won’t I would mind shooting from time to time”, he clinched.
