The equality that is pursued to increase competitiveness makes, in many cases, that the riders circulate in a group, increasing the possibility of a run over, the worst possible scenario in motorcycling.

For Rossi, everything goes through the respect that the riders must have, both for the discipline they practice, as well as with themselves and, logically, with the other riders around them on the track.

“What happened in Jerez was a disaster, and three times in the same year is already too many. “Perhaps one way to try to fix it is to toughen the punishment for the most risky behaviors. You have to be respectful, especially with yellow flags. The problem is the aggressiveness of young people, which has increased in recent years. Everyone he wants to finish first, but there is something more important than gaining two positions, which is the safety of oneself and of his rivals. Now no one cares about the safety of the others”, deepened the Sepang Racing Team (SRT) rider.

In the opinion of Il Dottore , the large number of motorcycles (up to 42 units) that are concentrated on the track in the Supersport 300 category, in which Viñales competed, is another factor to take into account and that should be corrected. That and the type of motorcycles used, which are very heavy (150 kilos) and have little power, a circumstance that greatly equalizes forces and facilitates pack races.

“In Supersport 300 there are many riders, more than 40. That is more extreme than Moto3, and it increases the risk. In addition, they are very heavy motorcycles, but not very powerful, and that means that they often go together”, said the man from Tavullia .
