We needed to know the exact date, but finally the mystery has been revealed. The multiplayer survival title, Rust Console Edition, will finally arrive on May 21 on PS4 and Xbox One .
This has been announced by the publisher Double Eleven and its developer Facepunch Studios. In addition to the digital edition, Koch Media will be in charge of publishing a physical edition and a special Day One. Here’s a new trailer to take a look at what awaits us.
Optimized specifically for old-generation consoles, Rust Console Edition will put us on a post-apocalyptic island, littered with dilapidated industrial buildings. You can interact with up to 100 other players , but you never know which of them is willing to help you or kill you.
Hunger, thirst, creating clothes and fighting hostile forces are just one part of the many sections that you will have to take into account if you want to survive. There are no rules, just be alive the next day . Of course, you’ll start out with little less than a rock and a stick in hand, ending up with your own fortification and modern arsenal to defend yourself.

As we said, Koch Media will be in charge of editing Rust Console Edition in physical format and this is what all its editions will bring:
