Salt River Tubing is located in the Salt River Recreation Area, 15 miles north of US 60 in the Tonto National Forest. It is close to Mesa (to the south) and Fountain Hills.

How to get to Salt River Tubing in Maricopa County, Arizona

METRO Light Rail does not serve Salt River Tubing, nor does the Valley Metro bus system.

From Downtown, North, and West Phoenix – Take I-10 to Loop 202 Red Mountain ** east to Mesa. Exit Power Road and head north (left). Power Road will veer right onto Bush Highway. Take the Bush Highway to Salt River Recreation.

From Scottsdale: Take Loop 101 Pima Freeway south to Loop 202 Red Mountain ** east to Mesa. Exit Power Road and head north (left). Power Road will veer right onto Bush Highway. Take the Bush Highway to Salt River Recreation.

From the East Valley – Take US60 East to Power Road, Exit 188, exit and head north (left). Power Road will veer right onto Bush Highway. Take the Bush Highway to Salt River Recreation.

** Do not confuse the Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway with the Loop 202 San Tan Freeway. They are different roads!
