Sandra Mohr's last case: “Steirertod” in the first

This week the last “Steirerkrimi” with the actress Miriam Stein is running. She will miss her team, but is looking forward to new tasks.

Graz – His new case is Commissioner Sascha Baumann (Hary Prinz) pretty much on the kidneys: colleague Sandra Mohr is shot in cold blood. Baumann, who likes to deal with his fellow human beings in a rough and bad mood, is now in demand not only as an investigator, but also as a father.

Because Sandra Mohr, played by Miriam Stein, was in a relationship with his son. The thriller “Steirertod” on Saturday at 8.15 p.m. in Das Erste has it all this time. For actress Stein it is her fifth and last case, she leaves the series.

How did that happen? Two prostitutes were murdered and the crimes were similar. Mohr suspects a connection. The commissioner is very pregnant. You and Baumann’s son Daniel are expecting a child and are deeply in love. The police officer ignores the instructions to concentrate on office work.

In addition to the investigation, Sascha Baumann has many other things on his mind: There is the tango course with a colleague, and then he gets a new boss put in front of his nose. Nicole Sturm (Bettina Mittendorfer) is a profiler and an ex-lover of Baumann – whom he once betrayed with another colleague to make matters worse. The result was son Daniel. So life is pretty complicated for the Chauvi, but then things suddenly get really serious.

Sandra Mohr is chasing a suspicious vehicle. Because at a traffic light a young woman had tried in vain to escape from the car. When Mohr stops the car a little later, the driver takes up his gun.

Anni Sulmtaler (Anna Unterberger) is new to the team. To Baumann’s taste, she talks too much. “A blond mouse,” he says upset. Anni Sulmtaler doesn’t let herself get down and gets to work ambitiously. She and Baumann are quickly very close to the perpetrator – without even knowing it. The murderer, in turn, is on the heels of the prostitute Bianca. When the perpetrator succeeds in kidnapping Bianca, the police start a race against time.

In an exciting way, director Wolfgang Murnberger stages the cat-and-mouse game between the outwardly so well-behaved perpetrator and the investigators. Wolfgang Rauh in the role of a psychopath is just as worth seeing as Lara Mandoki as a frightened prostitute – not only because the actress with Hungarian roots gives her character an authentic Hungarian accent.

Miriam Stein wants to devote herself to other projects in the future. When she quit the “Steirerkrimi” series, she said: “The nicest thing about my job is the variety, which I felt like doing again. The ideal situation would be: new roles with this team. ”Dpa
