Santana Row is very popular: it receives more than 12 million visitors a year, both locals and tourists, drawn by luxury and mid-range retailers, trendy restaurants and cafes, lively nightlife and the trendy street scene. It is considered one of the best places in Silicon Valley to see and be seen.

Santana Row is located at the corner of Stevens Creek and Winchester Boulevards in San Jose. The mall is close to highways 880, 280 and 17. It is 4 miles from downtown San José and 6 miles from San José International Airport (SJC).
Santana Row Architecture and Concept:
An East Coast-based developer, Federal Realty, bought the old, outdated Town & Country Village (San Jose) shopping center in 1997. They envisioned an architecturally significant mixed-use development where people could live, work, shop and be entertained, all in One community.
They hired architects to design a European-inspired urban plan with wide pedestrian streets, sidewalk cafes, and a mix of classic and modern architectural elements. Architectural and engineering plans won awards for successfully adapting an old-world European atmosphere to development from scratch. Santana Row opened to the public in November 2012.
Santana Row Parking:
Parking is free in all Santana Row lots and garages.
Valet parking is available for $ 8 at these locations / times:
- In front of the Hotel Valencia, 7 days a week.
- Near the CinéArts theater, from Friday to Sunday.
- In the Winchester garage, at ground level, Thursday through Sunday.
Santana Row Hours: Individual merchant hours vary, but Santana Row offices are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
