It was precisely this self-irony that virologist Christian Drosten recently demonstrated when he looked back on the fictitious end of the corona pandemic in 2022 in a satirical video for ZDF. In a “review of the year” posted on Tuesday (04.01.2022) by ZDF presenter Sarah Bosetti on Twitter, Bosetti interviewed him about the “past” year 2022.
“Nobody cares anymore” that he is a virologist “since my pandemic was over”, says the Berlin doctor in the interview with Bosetti, in which Drosten is introduced with the fade-in “Was once important”.
