After the incontestable victory of Aleix Espargaró in Termas de Río Hondo, the MotoGP World Championship embarks on the journey towards the Grand Prix of the Americas, venue for the fourth race of the year.
The rider from Granollers gave Aprilia its first victory in MotoGP after beating the Ducati of Pramac rider Jorge Martín. This result significantly altered the qualifying sheet for the season, and Aleix Espargaró is the provisional leader of the championship with 45 points, seven points behind Brad Binder.
In Moto2, Celestino Vietti was the winner on Sunday, who signed his victory after Sergio García Dols was crowned in the junior category.
