Seat updates the commercial range of the Ibiza and the Arona

0

The Seat Arona has earned the position as the best-selling car in Spain in 2021. After its renovation, and successful evolution in design , the national public has positively valued the changes made to the B-SUV bodywork. This restyling included, among others, greater technological equipment and tweaks in the safety section and driving assistants . Some improvements that were also transferred to the interior of the Seat Ibiza, another of the best sellers in the Spanish market. Both models, and after the application of the new tax brackets of the registration tax, have seen their offer of standard equipment reformulated to maintain the exemption from said payment . In this way, Seat continues to maintain the units with the most registered motorizations outside the tax.

These modifications are due to the fact that, from January 1, 2022, models with more than 120 g/km of CO2 are adjusted to a new tax bracket for emissions. In the case of the Ibiza, practically all of its commercial offer, which is linked to finishes, is exempt from this payment. This is largely due to the presence of the TGI natural gas versions, which bear the DGT ECO badge and the combinations most requested by customers: the 1.0 TSI 110 CV petrol with the Style and FR levels . In order to maintain that sports name within the margins that avoid the tax, the Ibiza and Arona FR now have a 16-inch wheel.

That yes, from Seat they offer the same opportunity to continue enjoying a level of equipment of security, comfort and connectivity leader in the segment. It is the main attribute with which they compete in a rising market, such as the Kia Stonic, Ford Puma, Opel Mokka and Citroën C3 Aircross, among others. A much-battled piece of the pie, especially with the introduction of electrification and other alternatives to traditional fuels. A decision that those from Martorell opted for CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) more than five years ago. Of course, without losing the dynamic aspect and that quality-price ratio that characterizes them.
