Should you move? These states have the cheapest Basic Food Basket in Mexico

With an expensive price was Walmart Express Santa Cruz Acatlán, in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, with 1,161.90 pesos; Walmart Express Fractionación Milenio III, in the city of Querétaro, 1,147.20; Mega Soriana Jardines de Jerez, in the city of León, 1,129.30; Walmart Express Chapultepec Morales, Mayor Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City, 1,126.8; Mega Soriana Lomas de la Selva, in Cuernavaca, with 1,097.90 pesos.

North Central Zone (Southern Southern California, Aguascalientes, Durango, Michoacán, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa and Zacatecas)

The most expensive option to acquire the 24 products was Mega Soriana in Aguascalientes Nte 802, Col. Torres de Alonso, Aguascalientes, where the set of products had a price of 1,165.30 pesos.

In second place was Walmart de La Paz, Baja California Sur, where the value of the basic basket was 1,163.70 pesos. They are followed by HEB in San Luis Potosí, where it cost 1,161.70 pesos.

North (Southern Southern California, Aguascalientes, Durango, Michoacán, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa and Zacatecas)

In the north, the most expensive option was Alsuper Store in Chihuahua, where it cost 1,142.37. At 1,131.80 pesos, the second most expensive in the region was Walmart in Hermosillo, Sonora. The third place with the highest price was also for Walmart but in Tijuana, Baja California, where the set of products reached 1,129.50 pesos.

South Southeast (Campeche, Chiapas, Guerrero, Quintana Roo, Oaxaca, Tabasco, Veracruz and Yucatan)

In the south southeast region, the most expensive place was Soriana Super in Cancun, Quintana Roo, where consumers can access the products for 1,142.40 pesos. Soriana Hiper in Veracruz took second place by offering the basic basket at 1,139 pesos. The third most expensive in the region was Walmart Express in Centro, Tabasco, where the group paid 1,125 pesos.

The lowest price was La Comer Cimatario from the city of Querétaro, with 986.15 pesos. In second place was Fresko Bosques de la Herradura in Huixquilucan, State of Mexico, where the price was 988.85 pesos; at Fresko La Comer Lomas de la Selva in Cuernavaca, the basket was offered at 989.45 pesos. At Bodega Aurrera in the Candelaria neighborhood, in the city of León, consumers can access the set of products for 1,050 pesos; and Central de Abasto de Iztapalapa, in Mexico City, at 1,060.10.

North center

Central de Abasto de Durango, where the set of products cost 1,035.50 pesos. The second cheapest was Soniana Hiper in Tonalá Jalisco, where the value was 1,048.70 pesos and in third place also Sorian Hiper but in Culiacán, Sinaloa, where it cost 1,054.60 pesos.

North

In this region of the country, the cheapest place to buy the basic basket was Merco in Monterrey, Nuevo León at a price of 971.85 pesos. In the second position was S Mart de Chihuahua, there the bill was 982.08 pesos. The third cheapest alternative with 991.45 was Soriana Hiper in Tijuana, Baja California.

Meanwhile, in the south southeast region, Bodega Aurrera in Centro, Tabasco, offers the cheapest price with 1,007.30 pesos. The same chain ranked second, this time in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, where the basket is achieved for 1,040.80. While Walmart in Capeche offers the 24 products at 1,153.20.

  • White egg – 1 pack of 18 pieces
  • Toilet soap – 1 pc.
  • Tomato salad – 1 kg.
  • Pasteurized milk – 5 liters
  • Lemon – 1 kg.
  • Apple – 1 kg.
  • Banana – 1 kg.
  • Box white bread – 1 package of 680 grs.
  • White potato – 1 kg.
  • Toilet paper – 1 bag of 4 pieces
  • Soup paste – 1 package 220 grs.
  • Whole chicken – 1 kg.
  • Canned sardine in tomato – 1 can of 425 g.
  • Supermarket corn tortilla – 4 kg.
  • Large carrot – 1 kg.
