Six Flags Hurricane Harbor en Six Flags Great America

While part of Six Flags Great America, Hurricane Harbor Water Park requires an additional fee on top of the general admission price. The huge tropical-themed park features Skull Island, a huge interactive water play structure. Offers dozens of water gadgets to soak up you and everyone around you. Every few minutes, three flush buckets discharge a torrent of water.

The park also features the Tornado funnel. It has over 25 additional waterslides, including the Paradise Plunge and Riptide speed slides and the Wahoo Falls slide runners. There is also a wave pool and a lazy river. Large groups can be crowded together on The Big Surf and Bubba Tubba family raft rides.

If you’re heading to the park on a busy day (as well as an especially hot and humid day), the lines for the slides can be quite long. You may want to consider paying additional fees to reduce your wait times at the water park. Learn more by reading my feature, »Is the Six Flags Flash Pass worth it? «

After your skin wrinkles and you have enough water park, you’ll want to make sure you take a ride on the wooden roller coaster, Goliath. Read my full Goliath review at Six Flags Great America.
