The PP has come out in defense of vaccines for the Spanish soccer team and has already registered in Congress the demand for the appearance of the Minister of Culture and Sports, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes . The ‘popular’ have decided to ask for explanations at the highest level for the scandal of not having administered the vaccines on time to the National Team in full Eurocopa.
As the PP highlights in its document already registered in the Table of the Congress of Deputies, “a few days before the start of Euro 2020 , we have learned that in the Spanish National Team, at least two players have been infected by Covid- 19 and the Government of Spain has not yet approved the vaccination of the players of the Spanish National Team ”.
As a consequence, the PP demands “the appearance of the Minister of Culture and Sports” because “it has been known in the last hours, the decision of the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Ministry of Health decided not to vaccinate the players of the Spanish National Team that go to participate in Euro 2020 ”. Subsequently, as is known, the Government has decided that they will be vaccinated and that it will be the Army who will administer the doses to those selected and the technical body.
The PP also highlights “the appearance so far of two players infected by Covid-19 putting at risk the participation of the Spanish team in said competition” for which “the appearance of the Minister of Culture and Sports Mr. José Manuel is required Rodríguez Uribes to give an account of the reasons for not proceeding to vaccinate the Spanish National Team that will participate in Euro 2020 ”.
