Most of us mothers (and fathers, of course) dream about what our baby will be like and imagine what it experiences inside the mother’s gut.
Now, thanks to the images that the Brazilian photographer Janaina Oliveira took of the birth of three babies, parents around the world can get a more exact idea of what the world of their child is like in the womb, among the image of the last ultrasound and the time of your birth.
Matais, Noah and Laura were born by cesarean section, still wrapped inside the intact , unbroken amniotic sac, surrounded by amniotic fluid, just as it was in their mother’s gut. This strange case is known as veiled childbirth , very difficult to witness and even more so to immortalize.
Very real and high quality images
The usual thing is that the baby is born after the amniotic bag ruptures, but there are occasions when, in cesarean deliveries, a newborn arrives in this world still inside the sac and surrounded by the amniotic fluid, just as it was inside the maternal uterus .
It is not the first time that we have told you about this type of childbirth, called ‘veiled’, but until now we did not have such beautiful and high quality images of such an extraordinary moment. The three babies were born in less than a month, in the same hospital in Praia da Costa, in Brazil.

Noah’s mother, Monyck Valasco, posted all the photographs taken by Oliveira of the birth of her son on her Facebook account, thanking that everything had gone well, since she had had a complicated pregnancy. The little one has become something of a celebrity in his hometown of Vila Velha.
