Start of school after Christmas: What students and parents should know in BW

0

The Christmas holidays are over and school will start again in Baden-Württemberg on Monday, January 10th – but there is an innovation because of Omikron.

On Monday, January 10th, all students in Baden-Württemberg should come back to school for face-to-face classes. Many parents, as well as pupils and teachers, recently feared that the Omikron variant could result in alternate or even distance learning from January. However, according to reports from HEIDELBERG24 *, the Ministry of Culture makes it clear that classroom teaching should be maintained in Baden-Württemberg – for as long as possible.

In order to prevent corona outbreaks, the Ministry of Culture recommends that all students get tested for the corona virus before starting school. As of Monday, there will be no new measures in school – the rules from before Christmas still existed in Baden-Württemberg. There is one innovation for schoolchildren after Christmas *, however. * HEIDELBERG24 is part of IPPEN.MEDIA.
