In addition to generating roof bars on the third star, the fact that the submarine of the first star disappeared has caused another change in the scene. If you go to this place, going through the initial tunnel, you will see that on the floor of the submerged area there is a reddish grid .
Pressurized water will shoot out of it, which in turn generates a series of rings that you will have to go through. The truth is that it is very simple because you will only have to leave Mario still in the center while the aforementioned rings go up on their own.
If you are positioned correctly, a series of numbers will start to appear that will show that you are doing it well. After going through five consecutive rings, the star will appear, but it will be placed on the grid, so simply swimming can cost you too much to get hold of it.
However, out of the water, on the platform where you can climb, there is a green block with which Mario will put on the metal cap and thus increase his weight considerably. Thanks to this, Mario will sink into the water and the one that comes out from the grid will not send you up. Of course, you must be very fast to carry out this process because the time is really tight.
