The Suzuki Ecstar team has revealed its presentation date and warns that it has everything ready to kick off the 2022 season. Two days after the launch of the newly incorporated WithU Yamaha RNF Team, the Japanese team communicates the date in the one that will show, for the first time, the colors of its GSX-RR 2022.
The presentation will take place on February 4 at 09:00 GMT (10:00 Friday, Spanish time) at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia. The event, which will be attended by Joan Mir and Alex Rins, will be broadcast live on the team’s website, as well as YouTube, Facebook and the official MotoGP channel.
During the presentation, fans will be able to enjoy seeing, for the first time, the drivers and members of the team together with the first images of the prototype of the Japanese structure, with which they will try to reach the top of the drawer of honor during the season 2022.
The Suzuki Ecstar finished the season third in the constructors’ championship thanks to the efforts of its drivers Joan Mir, who finished third behind Pecco Bagnaia with a total of 208 points and Alex Rins , thirteenth overall after a difficult year in which he only managed 99 points.
In this way, the Japanese team will share a date with Yamaha, who will also make his presentation from Malaysia, the stage where the shakedown of the championship will take place. This day, in which MotoGP rookies and testers from each factory will have the opportunity to ride on the track before the arrival of the Sepang test, will be the official venue for both presentations next Friday.
