Team Fortress 2 manages to break its record of simultaneous users, after 14 years since its launch, with more than 150,000 players

You can tell that with some video games, it doesn’t matter how much time passes that they will still have a good number of players willing to hang out with them. The same is what has happened to Team Fortress 2 after breaking its record of users playing simultaneously on Steam.

Thanks to the Steamcharts page we can see that last Friday night 150,037 people got together exactly in the popular competitive FPS of Valve. A figure that is not bad at all if we consider that the title was launched in the digital store in October 2007.

Previously, the record stood at a peak of 146,887 users , which was set last December. Since then the figure has suffered ups and downs, but the truth is that in recent weeks the number of players has been increasing more and more, so it would not be unreasonable to think that sooner or later this mark could be beaten again.

For many years, Team Fortress 2 has not been forgotten by Valve and continues to keep it active through updates and events, so it is clear that it still has a lot of life ahead of it.
