The fever for Formula 1 continues to grow, and thanks to the expectation for the category, Mediaset Spain will offer the 2022 Spanish Grand Prix for free through Telecinco .

The appointment that takes place from May 20 to 22 can be followed on open television thanks to an agreement with Movistar Plus + , the owner of the Gran Circo agreements in the country, and the general network will broadcast both the classification and the race.

The narration of the event will be in the hands of Gonzalo Serrano , with comments from Iván Vicario and Jaime Alguersuari, in addition to having Matías Prats Chacón to report on what happens from the circuit in Montmeló.

In this way, all Spaniards will be able to enjoy the sixth round of the 2022 Formula 1 calendar for free, in what will be the first real option to have a local winner at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya since in 2013 Fernando Alonso won with Ferrari in what has been, so far, his last victory in the category.

Carlos Sainz has more possibilities than ever to succeed in front of his public, since the F1-75 of the Maranello team is a serious candidate for the title, and that is one more incentive to continue the already exciting Spanish Grand Prix.

As if this were not enough, the other local hero, Alonso, will want to put in a good performance with his Alpine A522 to make up for those poor reliability results and, why not, add a historic podium finish.

This appointment in Catalan lands is synonymous with the history of Formula 1, since duels have been experienced in this scenario that have remained in the memory, such as that between Ayrton Senna and Nigel Mansell on the finish line in 1991, the first Michael Schumacher ‘s victory with Ferrari under a deluge in 1996, or the iconic Marea Azul supporting the two-time Asturian champion on the back of his Renault in 2005 and 2006.
