In our country there is a large salary difference by autonomous community , as indicated by the UGT and the STEs teaching union. The teachers with the best remuneration are those from the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands and the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla. The reason is that special residency supplements are added to the base salary in these areas.

At the end of the ranking are the teachers from Astuarias and the Community of Madrid, who earn an average of 2,050.61 and 2,118.51 gross euros per month, respectively.
