Alcañiz.- After the recent cancellation of the Malaysian Grand Prix, the promoter of the contest introduced a second race in Misano, which will take place after the appointment in Austin , but kept in doubt the celebration of the one in Argentina , now already suspended from official way.
In this latest update, that second appointment at the Marco Simoncelli Circuit was also identified as the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix .
At the same time, the date on which the first rehearsal of the next course’s preseason will take place was also made official. It will be on November 18 and 19 in Jerez , the week after the last appointment of this exercise, in Valencia, on November 14.
The activity will then be put on pause until February 2022 , at which time the two rounds of winter tests will be held, in Sepang and Mandalika (Indonesia), before the new championship starts rolling, in Qatar, March 6.
With this latest readjustment, the 2021 World Cup will have grown by four races compared to its 2020 version (14 grand prix), the first conditioned by the COVID-19 pandemic, and will lose one compared to the 19 that Dorna had initially planned .
