Chemnitz – Three people with stab wounds were found in an apartment building in Chemnitz on Tuesday night. An emergency doctor could no longer help a lifeless 18-year-old man who was lying in the doorway, as the police and public prosecutor in Chemnitz announced.
Two neighbors, a 65-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man, were injured and taken to hospital. They had checked before because of the noise in the house. Several residents had dialed the emergency number shortly before 2:00 a.m. because of the noise.
A spokeswoman for the public prosecutor said the events were not yet fully clarified. According to previous findings, two young women and two young men – all aged 18 years – are said to have celebrated in their parents’ apartment. There was a loud argument between the men, in the course of which one was on the ground. The other was later found in the vicinity of the building by the police.
The situation is difficult, said a spokeswoman for the Chemnitz Police Department. The investigators are now hoping for testimony and evidence to reconstruct the specific process and the respective involvement in the crime. In addition, a section of the dead was ordered. dpa
