For the fourth consecutive year, Formula 1 asked its drivers to evaluate the performance of all their colleagues on the grid to create their particular “top 10 best drivers of the season”, ratings that the category later mixes to create a classification very similar to the well-known vote of the team leaders.
On this occasion, the pilots who agreed to carry out said ranking were: Fernando Alonso, Pierre Gasly, Nicholas Latifi, Charles Leclerc, Nikita Mazepin, Lando Norris, Esteban Ocon, Daniel Ricciardo, George Russell, Carlos Sainz, Mick Schumacher, Lance Stroll, Yuki Tsunoda, Sebastian Vettel. With Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Pérez as absences.
Depending on the voting rules, the drivers can vote for themselves, since each ranking is always delivered to F1 with the maximum possible anonymity. The way of scoring is identical to the points system of the highest category, with 25 points for the first and one point for the tenth.
Once all the votes were combined, Formula 1 published the result and the champion was once again a Max Verstappen who seems to have agreed with the vast majority after his first conquest of the F1 world title.

Closing the particular podium of the drivers is Lando Norris, the McLaren driver surprised everyone in his third season in the category by constantly beating his teammate, Daniel Ricciardo, who does not even appear in the top 10.
Behind, the fourth position of Carlos Sainz stands out, just ahead of Charles Leclerc. The other Spanish driver, Fernando Alonso, was finally the sixth best of the season according to his colleagues on the grid.
Closing the top 10 and to the surprise of a large majority is Mick Schumacher. Despite his difficult first season in Formula 1 with Haas, the young German driver seems to have won the confidence of the grid.
