The Circuit of the Americas was once again Marc Márquez territory and this Friday he started the MotoGP free practice setting the best time in the two sessions. The Spanish driver was the fastest in FP1, celebrated on a wet track that dried up as the laps went by. The Honda rider took advantage of the complicated conditions with the medium wet asphalt to lead Jack Miller by just over a tenth.
The Australian came second again in FP2, also led by Márquez, who showed that there is no pain in Austin and that he has more than taken the Circuit.
