Summer arrives in Spain and we can feel privileged when it comes to choosing wonderful places throughout our geography. From north to south, from east to west, Spain offers a wide range of possibilities to national and international tourists who want to move around our country. One of those magical places, both in summer and winter, we find in Galicia, where we will find some of the most fascinating corners of Spain this summer.

Beach of the Cathedrals

It is not only one of the jewels of the Galician coast, Playa de las Catedrales is one of the best beaches that we can find in Spain. It is a set of cliffs that we can enjoy differently depending on the high or low tide . Furthermore, thanks to the wind and weather conditions, these cliffs have transformed their stones into authentic vaults and arches reminiscent of the Gothic style.

Cies Island

The Cíes Islands were quite unknown until a few years ago, now, they have become very fashionable among young tourists seeking a natural and charming getaway. It is one of the Galician jewels in terms of coast, the Romans themselves called it ‘the islands of the Gods’.

Punta Nariga

A unique landscape of rocks that look like petrified animals are concentrated in this place on the Costa da Morte. Located in Malpica de Bergantiños, this cliff is one of the wildest and most natural places in all of Galicia, creating one of the most interesting natural routes in the community.

Isla de Ons

It is the only inhabited island in the Natural Park of Galicia. One of the most beautiful corners of the community that keeps legends since the Romans. Wild beaches, caves, viewpoints, an emblematic lighthouse and a multitude of unique nature await in this wonderful enclave of Galicia.

Vineyards of the Rías Baixas

The Galician wine route has its origin in Pontevedra and La Coruña. It is made up of about 50 wineries that span Santiago until they reach the Miño River. Albariño will be one of the most famous wines, a typical product of the place, that you will taste on this route full of color, flavor and nature.

Ribadavia

For those who want to get out of nature, but want to explore some of the most charming villages in Galicia, they cannot miss Ribadavia. Very close to Portugal, in the Ribeiro region, is this town that also has its origin with the Romans and that has one of the most beautiful historical centers in Galicia.
