Just outside Reims and set in its own park, the restaurant boasts two well-deserved Michelin stars. The decoration is elegant, the kitchen even more so. It is also a hotel with 39 beautifully decorated rooms. If you want to be outside of Reims, this is the best option, but be prepared; This is expensive.

There are two restaurants at Château les Crayères, which is primarily a hotel. The best known, Le Parc les Crayères , is a destination in itself and a local favorite for special occasions. This is haute cuisine, preferably taken with some of the incredible Champagnes on offer from both small vineyards and top-selling names. Consider spending around 150-200 euros per person on 3 courses, with menus ranging from 80-300 euros per person (including drinks).
The second restaurant, Le Jardin Brasserie , is more informal and, in my opinion, more attractive than its older sister. The natural materials in the decoration, brick walls and slate floor, and lots of greenery, both indoors and on the charming terrace, make this a completely attractive place. Dishes are classics but with an inventive slant, like the sliced duck with escarole or the lamb roll with olives and apple puree. A 3-course meal costs around 49 euros per person, or take the excellent value, prix fixe, 3-course menu at around 31 euros.

You will find this excellent restaurant with good value for money next to the music conservatory to the south of the Cathedral. It is bright and cheerful, with paintings of the owner on the walls.
On offer are classics that change with the seasons, such as foie gras terrine and smoked salmon to start, a good selection of entrees such as braised beef sweetbreads with Jerusalem artichoke puree or beef tenderloin with potatoes in a red wine sauce.
