The keeper of happiness

El guardián de la felicidad Who says happiness cannot be measured? In London, a student at the Royal College of Art has devised the Robometer , a device made up of a wristwatch and a pair of rings that measures our levels of happiness in real time .

To achieve this, the system takes into account three parameters: the galvanic response of the skin (changes in heat and electricity transmitted by nerves and sweat), the repetitive movements of our body and the expressions that we repeat over and over again. From this information, Robometer deduces what our emotional state is and alerts us when we are too tense, while a voice reminds us what things make us feel good. ? Happiness is everywhere, don’t let Robometer tell you where to look for it ?, asks its creator, Nitipak Samsen.
