Super Mario 64
‘Super Mario 64’ is a video game for the Nintendo 64 console that arrived in Europe on March 1, 1997 and quickly became a bestseller. It was the first Mario game in 3D.
In July 2021 it was sold at auction for 1.33 million euros , making it the most expensive video game in history. The reason it fetched such a high price is that it had never been played and remained in its original packaging.
My Little Pony Princess Rapunzel Pony
One of the most valuable vintage toys today is the ‘Princess Rapunzel Pony’ figure from ‘My Little Pony’. ‘My Little Pony’ is an entertainment franchise that began life as a collection of pony toys in 1983. A kids love them because ponies have colorful bodies and unique manes.
On eBay it sold for more than 1,300 euros . A set of ‘Princess Pristina Pony’ has also been sold on the platform, although this one for a much lower price: 495 euros.
Pokemon Charizar Card
In the late 1990s, Pokémon cards were the kids’ favorite toy. One of the rarer cards is the first Shadowless Holographic Charizard that went on sale in 1999 . One of these cards was sold on eBay in early 2021 for € 267,000.
If you have a common Charizar card, like the Holo from the 1999 base set, you can also earn a lot of money from them. On eBay they sell for between 3,500 and 8,500 euros.
How can you tell if your Pokémon cards are valuable ? They must have a black diamond (rare) or a black star (rare).
