The news that the entire paddock and MotoGP fans were waiting for is now a reality, the flight that was transporting the material from Kenya that was yet to arrive in Argentina for the dispute over the only South American Grand Prix on the calendar has already landed at the Benjamín Matienzo Airport in San Miguel of Tucuman .

The arrival of the Boeing 747 puts an end to an incredible odyssey that had to be carried out to transfer the remaining cargo from Indonesia after the original plane that had to cover the long journey broke down. The shipment that is already on Argentine soil includes material from the Ducati, KTM, Suzuki, Yamaha, Tech 3, VR46 and Gresini teams, as well as others from Moto2 and Moto3, and from Michelin, MotoGP tire supplier.

Flight BSC4043 left Mombasa in the early hours of Friday and arrived in Lagos, Nigeria, its first stop, at 9:26 a.m. local time for refueling. Four hours later he resumed the flight to go to his second and last stopover, in the Brazilian city of Salvador, before finally traveling to Tucumán, where he landed at 9:45 p.m. local time, after 4 hours and 22 minutes of flight.

As soon as the plane landed, a special operation was launched with ten trucks to move all the material by land to the Termas de Río Hondo racetrack, located 96 kilometers from the airport.

It is estimated that after midnight all the material will already be in the hands of the teams, who will have to start working against the clock, especially Gresini and VR46, since they had not yet received any of their cargo to compete in Argentina.

The start of the first test on Saturday of a modified MotoGP program is scheduled for 12:35 local time (17:35 Spanish peninsular time).
