twitter-iss Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi , who has been in orbit on the International Space Station (ISS) for about 80 days, has used his mobile phone to post a series of unusual images of the Earth captured from outer space on his Twitter account. some of them taken from the recently opened viewpoint. Among the most famous landmarks on the planet that Soichi has photographed are the Cusco Valley and the Pyramids of Egypt.

Noguchi started his hobby as a space photojournalist on January 24 with an image of Port-au-Prince , the Haitian capital, captured shortly after the earthquake. Some of his most viewed images since then are the Golden Gate of San Francisco (52,000 visits), Kilimanjaro (46,300 visits), the red dunes of the Arabian desert (39,000 visits), the Pico de Orizaba in Mexico (39,500 visits), a photo of the city of Madrid (26,500 visits), London at night (38,800 visits) or the Himalayas at sunset (20,800 visits).

Noguchi currently has more than 115,000 followers on Twitter.
