The first day of 2022 began with a group meeting, in which the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 riders posed for the traditional group photo. In it, the 24 pilots who will fight for the title this season have posed, uniformed, next to their prototypes.

During this Thursday, the first press conference of 2022 has also taken place, a meeting that has been led by the current champion Fabio Quartararo, followed by Pecco Bagnaia, Marc Márquez, Maverick Viñales, Joan Mir and Brad Binder.

In this media meeting, the pilots of the premier class have approached their points of view to the press, answering questions and expressing their predictions for this new season.

The responsibility for officially opening the season will fall to Moto3 tomorrow. The junior category will start the action at the Losail international track, paving the way for its older sister, Moto2 , which will continue with its first free practice sessions at 10:45. Finally, MotoGP will have its first practice sessions of the year at 11:40 at the Qatari track.

In this way, the MotoGP paddock is ready to roar its engines and start a season that seems interesting, due to the rivalry on the track that already gave us a glimpse of the past pre-season tests.
