The fourth generation of the Seat Leon is ready for its stellar appearance. On January 28, the new image of the best-selling compact in Spain will be presented to the whole world. All eyes will be on him and the work that designers and engineers alike have done. The commercial success of the current range has been flawless, so expectations are high.
Many of us prefer to bet on calm, anything can happen and it is difficult to please everyone. It is not that the brand makes it easy for us, filtering details such as the new LED lighting that the next León will install. The last thing to be removed from the sleeve has been the creation of a specific camouflage and away from the usual designs with the aim of paying tribute to Barcelona .

Yes, we are aware of important aspects, such as that it has been built on the MQB Evo platform of the Volkswagen Group that is already used by the Skoda Octavia and Volkswagen Golf. This highly technological and modular architecture will allow the Spanish firm to take its first steps in the field of electrification . Hence, we can already anticipate the presence of a hybrid version, which joins the TGI (compressed natural gas) variants as the most sustainable options in the range.
In order to create even more expectation, the firm has published a brief teaser on its social networks, in which we can see the silhouette of the new Seat León 2020 . Its lines seem more elongated, especially with regard to the front and the wheelbase. Its hood is more stretched and directs the headlights towards the ground. At first glance, its shape reminds us a lot of current Mazda , except for the rear. In it we can see a small spoiler and a spoiler in the center of the gate, a resource that we already discovered when talking about its lighting. As we said, we cannot anticipate but it seems that the new Leon is just that: really new .
