– Leclerc’s thirteen pole positions have been achieved with Ferrari, equaling Alberto Ascari, who achieved 13 of his top 14 positions with the Prancing Horse .

– This is the 234th pole position for the Ferrari team and the 235th for a Scuderia engine. These are two absolute records.

– By contrast, Mercedes had a run of nine consecutive pole positions in Barcelona, from 2013 to 2021.

– You need to go back to 2012 to find Lewis Hamilton outside the front row of the grid at the Spanish GP, when he was disqualified for not having enough fuel in the tank of his McLaren after setting the fastest qualifying time.

– For the first time in his career, Mick Schumacher reached Q3 in qualifying. However, it was not the first time that he started from tenth position on the grid, since at Imola he finished tenth in the sprint race, which established the starting order for Sunday.

– Haas got both cars through to Q3 for the first time since Brazil 2019.

– It is the first time that Fernando Alonso has been eliminated in Q1 at Barcelona since this qualifying format was adopted.
