This is how F1 drivers are spending the summer holidays

0

The time of weekends full of competition, fights and motorsport finds a break in the summer period to recharge the batteries and face the second and final part of the course with the maximum possible motivation. For this reason, drivers are looking for ways to escape during the vacation weeks without Formula 1, and many of them have shared it on their social networks so that their followers know how they disconnect.

One of those who has been in the news in recent weeks due to his signing for Aston Martin is Fernando Alonso, who despite saying that he was going to spend a few days on a boat in Greece, went to his museum to do some runs with a kart and maintain fitness.

However, the Spanish pilot also had time to enjoy with his current partner, the journalist Andrea Schlager , on a remote beach whose location is unknown. With a “hello summer” he shared the good moment he is going through after turning 41.

Holidays in maritime places have not been lacking in other members of the grid, such as his still partner in Alpine, Esteban Ocon, who was seen jumping from a boat in Italian waters.

The same thing happened with the Ferrari duo, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, who went out to sea to spend some time swimming and enjoying themselves on a boat. In the case of the Monegasque, he went to Bonifacio , on the island of Corsica, although he could coincide a few days later with the Madrid native, since both were in the Balearic Islands, the usual place of rest for the Spaniard with his family.

He was not the only Formula 1 driver who toured the archipelago, since George Russell tanned in Mallorca , just like Mick Schumacher did, although the German from Haas was more cautious since he was wearing a hat so as not to burn himself with the sun.

The one who may have done it is Daniel Ricciardo, who was smiling in a pool in what could be his native Australia , a place he always likes to visit when he has some free time.

Another who has made a great journey is Lewis Hamilton, who went through Namibia and Rwanda to free his mind from the rest of the world in a location full of fauna and people from whom to learn life lessons, as he acknowledged in his publication on social networks .

The one who was his previous partner, Valtteri Bottas, did not rest at home either, and shared one of his passions, the bicycle, which he enjoys in Wyoming with his partner, the professional cyclist Tiffany Cromwell .

Some more members of the grid published their adventures, such as Lando Norris, who was celebrating his anniversary with his girlfriend, or Alex Albon , who preferred to leave the wheel to practice a sport that is gaining popularity in the paddock, golf.

One who took the holidays with humor was Pierre Gasly, who in some photographs in Greece joked that they could now call him Petros after his stay in Hellenic lands.
