This is how Mazda pushes its vehicles to the limit

In fact, the US Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) awarded all Mazda vehicles tested the highest possible score in 2021; specifically, the Mazda3 (Sedan and 5-door), the Mazda6, the Mazda CX-3, the Mazda CX-30 (models after September 2020), the Mazda CX-5 and the Mazda CX-9. To earn this rating, Mazda vehicles had to earn good ratings in all six safety evaluation categories assessed by the IIHS: 40% overlap semi-frontal crash, driver’s side 25% overlap semi-frontal crash, with 25% overlap on the passenger side, side impact, roof strength and head restraint performance. Mazda vehicles also earned advanced or higher scores in vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian frontal impact prevention assessments, as well as good or fair headlamp scores.
