This is how the Italian F1 GP grid would look after the sanctions

0

The FIA ‘s habit of not publishing the starting grid of the races and not making it official until Sunday (hours before the start of the grand prix) means that the positions and rows of the Italian GP 2022 of F1 have to be consider more provisional than ever.

For example, Max Verstappen was second but has five penalty positions, which would suggest that he will start seventh. But the Dutchman, to whom the sanction would be applied first (before the drivers who are sentenced to the back of the grid), would win the three places that the also penalized Carlos Sainz, Sergio Pérez and Lewis Hamilton would lose, so it would really come out fourth.

We insist, this IS NOT the OFFICIAL GRID for the Italian GP , for this Sunday’s race at Monza, but at Motorsport.com Spain we believe that it will be so.
