Volkswagen is ID. The German firm has always stood out for having a portfolio full of best sellers in all segments , such as the Golf as a compact car or the Tiguan as an SUV. Car that launched, car that was a success. And the same thing is happening now with its electric range, or better known as the ID family. Two years ago the first of them arrived, the ID.3 to revolutionize electric vehicles in Spain in terms of design and performance. Part of that success has shaped this family that has grown in record-breaking fashion. After the electric compact came the ID.4 (as well as its GTX variants, synonymous with sportiness) and the ID.5, an SUV coupé that will go on sale in May.

Without forgetting a whole banner, the ID. Buzz . This is the electric reinterpretation of one of the most emblematic models in automotive history. “The ID. Buzz is the best example that we are making this transition towards a new model of sustainable mobility while maintaining our essence and our DNA: Volkswagen is a brand with more than 80 years of history that has always been characterized by offering quality products high technological value and a high emotional component. This has allowed us to connect with our customers in a different way. It is something that we must preserve”, explained Laura Ros , general director of Volkswagen Spain, during the presentation of the range to the Spanish press in Madrid.

But in addition to this symbol, now zero emissions, we have also had the opportunity to see in person the model that will give access to the range, for the year 2025: the ID. LIFE. With a price of approximately 20,000 euros , this model was born with the aim of making electric mobility accessible to more people. In fact, behind this electric offensive is the purpose through which Volkswagen’s strategy is articulated and that is none other than to achieve emission-free mobility for all. “In the year 2050 our objective is to be a CO2 neutral company, therefore, and despite the very difficult context that we have gone through during these last two years, we have firmly maintained our commitment to sustainability. A commitment that is backed by very important,” Ros added.
