The two Hollywood stars shot a film together in Australia. In an interview, they tell what they did when the cameras weren’t rolling.

New York – Julia Roberts (54) was cared for by George Clooney (61) and his family while filming their joint film “Ticket to Paradise”. The two Hollywood stars said so in a New York Times interview published on Monday.

Roberts traveled alone for the shoot in Australia, while Clooney was accompanied by his wife Amal and their two children. “We started on Hamilton Island, where there are all the wild birds, and Julia had the house right below Amal, me and the kids,” Clooney said. Every morning he would call Roberts outside – “and then we would bring her down a cup of coffee. To my children she was Aunt Juju.”

“The Clooneys saved me from utter loneliness and despair,” Roberts said. “We were in a bubble and I’ve never been away from my family for that long. I don’t think I’ve spent that much time alone since I was 25.”

In “Ticket to Paradise” the two stars play a divorced couple who travel together to visit their daughter in Bali. In Germany, the comedy will be in cinemas on September 15th. dpa
