40th Anniversary and New Flying Eagles : To celebrate its anniversary, the park will bring back an updated model of a classic Flying Scooter ride.

Description of the park

Minnesota’s largest park, Valleyfair, offers a large collection of roller coasters and thrill rides. The characteristic Wild Thing hypercoaster offers a particularly exciting experience. The park is owned and operated by Cedar Fair, which also includes Cedar Point and Knott’s Berry Farm in its portfolio.

General admission includes access to the adjacent Soak City Water Park. Valleyfair offers activities for younger children, including the KidWorks area with small games and an interactive Foam Ball factory. It also offers live shows. Additional charge attractions include go-karts, miniature golf, and the RipCord free-fall roller coaster.

Featured attractions

Nice collection of wooden roller coasters including Renegade, the classic High Roller and the Excalibur wood and steel hybrid. The well-regarded Wild Thing hypercoaster soars over 200 feet and hits a top speed of 74 mph. Other attractions include the Power Tower freefall ride, the 185-foot Steel Venom impulse roller coaster, the thrilling Xtreme Swing ride, and a good collection of rides for younger children. Shows include live music productions and a large-screen IMAX theater.

Soak City got the Breakers Pipeline, a waterslide tower with four slides, some of which feature trapdoor releases. He also opened an interactive platform called Barefoot Beach.

The retro-themed area features the ride, Northern Lights, a “Disk’o Coaster” that travels back and forth on a mountain track, as well as other return and relocated rides.

Living dinosaurs
You can eat with clockwork dinosaurs, but it costs more at this surcharge.

Water park

The adjacent Soak City Water Park is included with admission. It offers a wave pool, body slides, tube slides, the Hurricane Falls 4 person raft ride, the action river Raging Rapids and the interactive water play structure, Splash Station.

Valleyfair offers a number of admission and pricing options including one or two consecutive day passes (two day passes are only slightly higher than day passes) and a discounted ticket after 5pm. Reduced rates are available for children and seniors. Entry is free for children under 2 years old. Soak City Water Park is included with admission. Season passes for Valleyfair and all Cedar Fair parks are available.
