Venezuela: Podemos tries to sabotage a resolution of the European Parliament on the Maduro dictatorship

Podemos has tried to sabotage the debate and subsequent vote on a resolution in which the European Parliament is working on the situation in Venezuela. Two days later, the European Parliament will cast its vote to carry out, or not, a resolution on the situation of the Venezuelan dictatorship.The creation of this text has not pleased the European left that includes Podemos because they see it as interference in foreign policy. Idoia Villanueva, MEP from the morados and new secretary for international affairs of the formation, has been in charge of censoring the debate on the situation in Venezuela. The proposal of the European Left has been rejected by the vast majority of the European Parliament and will take place normally. The 20 MEPs belonging to the European Socialists have abstained from voting. In addition to the European United Left, their vote has been significant as they decided not to vote against the previous proposal.
