Video clip goes viral: Bezos' girlfriend meets DiCaprio

Sparks fly: A video is making the rounds in the social networks that shows Jeff Bezos’ girlfriend adoring Leonardo DiCaprio. Who can blame her? Well, Jeff Bezos.

Washington – A six-second video clip starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his partner Lauren Sanchez is currently causing a sensation on the Internet.

The 51-year-old Sanchez seems to adore the Hollywood star in the video at a gala, Bezos stands – holding hands – like an extra next to the two. The apparently intense conversation cannot be heard because of the background noise, but Sanchez’s facial expressions and gestures seem as if she only had eyes for 46-year-old DiCaprio.

The video, which had been viewed more than 16 million times by Tuesday morning, was recorded over the weekend at an event hosted by DiCaprio at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Twitter reacts to the clip with amusement

The newscaster has been dating Bezos since 2019 after he split from his wife MacKenzie Scott. The clip aroused numerous mostly amused reactions on Twitter: “She’s too old for Leo. You have nothing to fear, ”one user consoles 57-year-old Bezos. Another says: “Body language never lies.” While others believe that DiCaprio will probably no longer have an Amazon Prime membership in the future.

Bezos himself also responded – with humor – to the clip. He tweeted: “Leo, come over here, I want to show you something …” Underneath, he posted a photo in which he himself was bare-chested behind a sign that read: “Danger. Steep cliff. Fatal fall, ”it says.

Sanchez himself held back. She wrote on Instagram: “A wonderful evening yesterday.” It was a great event that will benefit important initiatives, exhibitions and programs at the museum in the years to come. dpa
