Since the 2010 season, the British company Codemasters has been in charge of creating the official game of the highest category of motorsports, and this 2022, after its union with EA Sports last year, it will launch a new edition.
On the occasion of the premiere of the Miami Grand Prix, the company published the first video of the video game, which will be available from July 1, and, in addition, they revealed the faces of the drivers who will be on the covers.
The video game will have two editions, one as a series, in which Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc and George Russell, the young stars of the Great Circus, will be the protagonists, and a Champions Edition , where the world champions of the current grid will be, that is, Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel.
This will be the first installment in which the important presence of EA Sports is noticed, since they have changed the name, going from F1 2022 to F1 22 , as is the case with their main game, FIFA.
In the video published by Formula 1 on its social networks, you can enjoy the new Miami circuit with the cars from this campaign, although the single-seaters that appear are still the FIA models with the official decorations.
It seems that for some game modes where the user can create their own car, they will have only this vehicle, although it is expected that all the real teams will have the designs that they put on the track every weekend, since they have indicated that “they are not the final models.

The surprise comes at the end of the publication, since you can see how a street McLaren skids through one of the curves of the American track, in what will be a new game mode, the F1 Life hub .
Additionally, to celebrate this world premiere Grand Prix, Codemasters will reward users who pre-order the Champions Edition by May 16 with a special livery from local artist Abstrk .
