Every season is an opportunity to reach the title, and the Suzuki Ecstar team is ready to pursue that goal during 2022. To do this, the Japanese factory will use its regular riders Joan Mir and Alex Rins after a season in which they closed the podium of the world constructors.
The fight for the title will be joined by the GSX-RR, a prototype that saw the light for the first time during the team’s presentation. In this way, Suzuki followed Yamaha in the order of presentations, with a debut that began at 10:00 in Spain.

Suzuki enters its eighth season since returning to MotoGP and, today, has the same line-up it opted for in 2019. With Joan Mir in third place overall and a total of six podiums, the Japanese team hope was used in the development of the GSX-RR, a prototype that saw the light on Friday morning.
On the other side of the box and with a thirteenth position in the general classification, his compatriot Alex Rins will try to improve the results achieved during 2021, a season in which he could only qualify for a podium. In this way, the Suzuki Ecstar team begins the roadmap towards the title of the premier category.
