“We have to – I believe – come to terms with the fact that everyone in Germany will come into contact with the virus again and again in the next few years,” said Streeck of the German Press Agency: “However, infections that have been found in those who have been vaccinated should be recovered and occur especially in the summer months, do not cause any major problems. ”Even if you cannot prevent every severe course, said Streeck.

According to the virologist, we would have to develop a summer tire and a winter tire mode. “In summer you can deal with a lot of things in a more relaxed manner, in autumn or winter masks or similar protective measures are important – you have to be aware of that.
