Kumamoto – The Aso volcano in southwestern Japan has erupted. The eruption occurred on Wednesday (October 20, 2021). The mountain is located on Kyushu Island and is 1592 meters high. He has long been considered active. His last outbreak was six years ago.

Now thick clouds of ash are moving over the Japanese island. They reach a height of around 3500 meters, reports the Asian TV station NHK.
