The Selectividad 2021 has already fired its starting gun. In the same way as in previous years, each autonomous community establishes its own dates. The first region to hold the call was Murcia, between June 1 and 3, and this Monday, June 7, begins in Castilla-La Mancha, the Community of Madrid and Cantabria. It is important that students know what they can take to the Selectividad 2021 exams .

Of course, the DNI, the residence permit or the passport is mandatory. Without these documents the student cannot take the university entrance exams. In addition, students can bring pencils, pens, and erasers.

Regarding the materials that can be taken, it varies according to the subject. In the case of mathematics or chemistry, the calculator is allowed . Now, it must be a calculator that cannot be programmed or that solves operations with derivatives, matrices, integrals and calculations with determinants by itself, or that can be programmed in some way. The use of a calculator that stores alphanumeric data or that has a graphical display is also prohibited.

Students taking technical drawing II can use pencils, eraser, protractor, pencil sharpener, square, ruler, bevel, compass. Of course, the use of templates, technographs and boards with paralex is not supported. In the Greek and Latin exams, students can come to the exam with a dictionary.

In all tests the use of typex is prohibited. It is one of the materials that cannot be taken to the Selectivity exams.

All these elements are for individual use . They cannot be shared under any circumstances. As for mobile phones and smart watches, students have to deposit them in a drawer located at the entrance of the classroom before the exam begins.

Anti-COVID measures in selectivity 2021

In the same way as in the 2020 calls, the use of the mask is mandatory at all times, also during the tests .

It is forbidden to remove the mask to sneeze and cough . In case of doing so, the person has to cover their nose and mouth with a disposable tissue that they must throw into the trash right after and wash their hands.

All classrooms are ventilated 15 minutes before the test begins , and during the tests the windows are open. Students must keep a distance of 1.5 meters.
