After three weeks of vacation due to the summer break required by the Formula 1 regulations, the single-seaters of the highest category of motorsport will compete again this weekend, from August 26 to 28, at the 2022 Belgian Grand Prix .

As usual, the Spa-Francorchamps track will host a grand prix that has historically been known for having quite unpredictable and sometimes chaotic weather for motor sport due to the heavy rains that form around it, as happened in the last season, when after many hours without activity on the track, the race was finished by counting the few laps that the cars had done behind the safety car.

The weather for the Belgian F1 Grand Prix in 2022 in Spa (with the current forecast)

Day Weather Maximum and minimum temperatures Possibility of rain winds
Friday August 26 Rainy 22° – 18° 75% Maximum of 10 km/h
Saturday August 27 Foggy 19° – 15º twenty% Maximum of 10 km/h

The temperature will drop and not even reach 20º throughout the day.

On Sunday, August 28, the race will be held, the session that distributes the points. Although minimally, the probability of rain will increase to 25%, despite being a low figure, the nature of the Ardennes does not allow its presence to be ruled out at some point in the 44 laps of the Belgian GP . The temperature will rise again and will reach a maximum of 21º.

A welcome sign to Spa-Francorchamps
