New for 2015

New water slides
Three new slides will open in the Wild Waves water park section.

Special note

The amusement park used to be known as the Enchanted Village. Now the combined water park and amusement park are known as Wild Waves. Additionally, Six Flags used to own and operate the property, but sold it in 2007. Another company now manages the park.

Description of the park

Wild Waves is a relatively small amusement park, with a relatively large water park. In the sense that it has no discernible theme, it is not a theme park. Its wooden roller coaster, Timberhawk, which reaches a top speed of 50 mph and a height of 75 feet, is the park’s main thrill ride. There are other thrilling rides, as well as the usual park suspects, like a Ferris wheel, bumper cars, and a moving pirate ship.

A single ticket includes admission to the amusement park and the adjacent water park. With a wave pool, lazy river, family raft ride, and tons of slides, there are plenty of ways to get wet.

Amusement park highlights:

  • Roller coasters include the 75-foot tall Timberhawk Lumberjack, Wild Thing Steel Coaster, and Klondike Gold Rusher, a Wild Mouse ride.
  • Other thrilling rides include the Timber Ax, which spins passengers upside down, and the Disko-Flashback, a spinning ride that travels back and forth on a half-tube track.
  • Younger children will enjoy the kiddy rides at Kid’s Kingdom, and the whole family will enjoy the water ride, Lumberjack Falls, and the river raft ride, Raging River.
  • The water park offers many slides and other activities.
