Among those positions currently to be filled are those of Maintenance and Gardening, Administration and Secretary, Hospitality, Press and Marketing and more.

Job vacancies at Buckingham Palace and other royal residences are aimed at candidates of various levels of experience, for permanent and temporary hires . Successful candidates will be able to work in London, Edinburgh or Windsor, in the residences of the Royal Family.

Salaries are variable depending on the position to which you aspire but the average would be between 26,600 and 40,500 euros per year . The cleaning service in particular will charge 1,100 euros for half a day or double if you work full time.

How to access job offers

Those interested in future Buckingham Palace hires and active job openings can visit the Buckingham Palace website.

From this it is possible to view open positions and respond online to those of interest. To do this, you will have to register for free on the platform and send the CV using the corresponding form. Applications must be submitted within the deadlines indicated for each job opportunity, some of them have already been finalized but many others remain open until the end of this month of October.

It is not required to have previous experience for the position that is aspired although it is preferable and also, it seems that somehow those candidates who have the illusion of working for the monarchy will be valued more. In fact, it is specified that candidates must take into account that the work they are going to do “will be part of the legacy of Queen Elizabeth II” even though most of the jobs will not imply at all that the candidate can see or interact with the queen taking into account all the protocols that are followed in Buckingham.
