Passers-by hear shots and inform the police: a tragic incident occurred in front of a supermarket in Baden-Württemberg.
Kirchheim unter Teck – A 58-year-old woman was killed by her husband in front of a supermarket in Kirchheim unter Teck (Baden-Württemberg).
The 59-year-old then shot himself, the police said. Passersby informed the officers after hearing the shots. Police officers, who arrived just a few minutes later, found the woman dead in the entrance area of the market. The husband was found dead in his car in the parking lot. The alleged murder weapon was also found there. Bystanders were not injured, it was said.
The criminal police are investigating the background and the exact course of events. Witnesses to the incident are asked to contact the Kirchheim police station. dpa
