    2. In this preparation, we will start with the caramel , the base of any flan. We can buy it already prepared, but doing it at home is very simple.
    3. By cooking our own caramel we will avoid accumulating containers in the refrigerator or making ourselves with a base that would have nothing to do with the one prepared by the grandmothers.
    4. To make a homemade caramel, we only need a non-stick pan that can be used to cook it without problems.
    5. We put all the caramel ingredients and heat until it has the right texture.
